All men? |

Hi there.
I dont know if any other women post on this board, I dont know if there is an introduction thread. ?
Ive always wondered what people get out of watching 90 mins of professional football on the tv . Dont get me wrong i enjoy watching real football with people i know playing but watching the *stars* playing is pretty boring. I was wondering if
anyone could explain to me what they enjoy about it
and maybe ill come away with a different point of view.
Thanks.
the poll on top was just to see what happened.

Hello and Welcome to Teamteq,
Very nice to see ladies using the forum, I think you're right about the use by the female footballers, you could be the first ! Shame really because I know there are loads of you out there who really enjoy football. Maybe this will be a start of a great thread for you.
As for watching footy on TV, personally its a chance to see my mates and get a few cans in, too cold to do that outside in the middle of winter !!

The main difference for me is the quality of the play. For instance you don't see in local parks what players like Gerrard, Rooney, Henry and the rest are capable of. But I must agree that watching your local team play is far more realistic and sometimes as a supporter you can have an effect on players due to the close proximity of the supporters, you can encourage your own team or attempt to put off the opposition with some choice comments.

Yes I agree that there is a difference with the quality of the play, and i guess the whole atmosphere is different in a stadium, and everyone must dream of playing football at that level..
Its the people with the tattoos all over them with their team on that baffle me!!
Oh it was great today to see leeds v's **** womens match on the telly.!!!.
